America Saves Week promotes saving behaviors and personal financial health

posted on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 in SHAZAM Blog

This week is America Saves Week, an annual weeklong campaign to raise awareness about the importance of saving money, reducing debt and creating better financial habits. This is a perfect time to encourage your accountholders to review their finances and saving behaviors to pay down debt, save money for a car or home, or establish an emergency fund.

Since 2007, America Saves Week has been a call to action for everyday Americans to commit to saving successfully. The America Saves pledge is the framework that allows savers to set a goal and a plan to achieve better financial stability. Check out the America Saves Week website for more information and to access their toolkits to help you communicate and add value for your accountholders not only this week, but every week.

America Saves is an initiative of the Consumer Federation of America (CFA), a nonprofit, pro-consumer organization comprised of over 270 consumer education, advocacy, and cooperative members dedicated to advancing consumer interests.
