SHAZAM recognized for volunteerism by United Way of Central Iowa

SHAZAM’s commitment to giving back was highlighted this week at United Way of Central Iowa’s annual LIVE UNITED Awards. The awards recognize individuals and organizations that are improving lives through their exceptional efforts giving, advocating, and volunteering for those in our community who need help. This year, SHAZAM was recognized in two categories for our endeavors in 2021.
Congratulations to our own Molly Ver Mulm, chair of SHAZAM’s United Way team, on winning the Individual Game Changer award. Molly was honored for her outstanding leadership and creativity in leading SHAZAM’s 2021 United Way campaign efforts. The Game Changer award recognizes one person who went above and beyond to make their 2021 United Way workplace campaign successful. This award focuses on the “boots-on-the-ground" people, and for SHAZAM, that was Molly.
We’re also pleased to announce that SHAZAM has won the Impact Maker award. Laura McBride, who is a United Way committee team member and a United Way leadership circle donor, accepted this award on behalf of our wonderful employees who continually support our community through United Way. This award honors three organizations for their dedication, innovation and success in giving through the 2021 United Way campaign.
At SHAZAM, our culture is one of contribution and caring. Year round, SHAZAM employees are lending their talents to our communities in a variety of ways, and we are so proud of the amazing work they do!
