SHAZAM Helping People Impacted by Maui Wildfires with Monetary Donation

DES MOINES, Iowa (Aug. 21, 2023) — SHAZAM, Inc., a nationwide provider of financial services to community banks and credit unions, announced today it will make a $10,000 donation to support those affected by the Maui wildfires. The donation matches a $10,000 gift from the Hawaii Credit Union League (HCUL). SHAZAM’s donation exemplifies our belief in strengthening financial institutions and supporting all aspects of our relationship with the HCUL as an endorsed business partner.
“Our thoughts are with the Maui community and those who have suffered any loss as a result of this devastating tragedy,” says SHAZAM President and CEO Paul Waltz. “Our partnership with HCUL is about supporting the people who work in Hawaii Credit Unions and the members they serve.”
The HCUL is working with its Valley Isle Chapter to coordinate how donations will be distributed to help those in need.
