Westside State Bank has joined SHAZAM's faster payments program

SHAZAM is providing Westside State Bank with access to faster payments through our dedicated connection to The Clearing House (TCH) RTP® system. As our second pilot bank, Westside State Bank accountholders can now benefit from a variety of TCH/RTP Credit Receive transaction types including merchant funding/settlement, cash-out from digital wallets, real-time payroll deposits and bill payments. Receiving accountholders will enjoy immediate funds availability for payments received 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
The announcement was made in a June 16 news release where Matt Lujano, President and CEO of Westside State Bank said: “Westside State Bank is proud to partner with The Clearing House, Banker’s Bank and SHAZAM on this advance in real-time payments. The Bank is excited to be an early adopter in what we see as the future of banking. At Westside State Bank, we offer customers customized service backed by technology that accommodates their ever-evolving financial needs.”
SHAZAM has historically been at the forefront of providing innovative faster payment solutions, and we will continue to work with banks interested in our new faster payments program. Our integration with the RTP system extends and enhances our EFT processing and core solutions with a new set of account-based, real-time payment transactions and related value-added services.
