Mike ensures SHAZAM^® clients and association partners receive relevant and timely education on several security-related risks. He serves as a speaker and panelist at various conferences and events, sharing his subject matter expertise with audiences across the country.

Before joining SHAZAM, Mike was a detective sergeant and case agent for financial institution robberies, drug investigations and homicides. After a 20-year career, Mike was tapped to lead the first Homeland Security Training Center in Iowa.

He was the founding director of Iowa Central Homeland Security Training Center and was responsible for developing a critical homeland security curriculum and instructing more than 40,000 first responders. Mike’s an active member of CrimeDex, International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators and numerous local, state and federal fraud working groups.
