The Many Ways SHAZAM Digital Banking Serves Accountholders
Over the last 18 months, multiple enhancements have been made to SHAZAM Digital Banking, allowing financial institutions to accommodate your accountholder’s needs. Here are the highlights:
- A simple but impactful enhancement is the business profile toggle. This feature allows accountholders with a combination of personal and business accounts to toggle the user view of the accounts between consumer and commercial, with business functionality visible specific to business accounts.
- Business functionality has grown to include ACH file upload, which, once enabled, allows accountholders to upload a singular ACH file containing multiple transactions. This negates the need for accountholders to enter individual transactions manually.
- We enhanced business bill pay to capture invoice payments, which provides multiple lines of invoice items (For example: amount and description) to be included with a check payment.
- For all customer or account types, biometric login is now available for your financial institution to enable without any additional costs associated. This feature provides a seamless experience via facial or fingerprint recognition.
- You can turn on wire requests through the SHAZAM Digital Banking Control Portal, which provides accountholders a way to securely send in all pertinent wire details through SHAZAM Digital Banking to your financial institution for further processing.
- External transfers is another feature now available to all accountholders, should you choose to enable it. This feature allows for money movement between customers at different financial institutions through ACH. This includes adding external recipients and validating those accounts through either a prenote (for commercial customers) or via micro-deposit (for consumer customers).
- With the addition of segmentation, financial institutions can utilize grouping of customers for the purpose of defining money movement entitlements and limits outside of those that are defined at the account-product level. This allows your financial institution customization choices and control over VIP or high-volume accountholders.
- If enabled by your institution, business and consumer accountholders can create additional users within digital banking and designate which accounts the secondary user can access along with the actions the user can take on the accountholder’s behalf.
- In addition, enhancements have been made to our reporting within the control portal to ease user management, money movement and accessibility within SHAZAM Digital Banking. There are now comprehensive reports regarding activity summaries of successful logins; remote deposits submitted; new user enrollment; e-statement views; and money movement, including bill pay and ACH activity.
