Debit Card Portfolio Overview

Is your institution’s debit card top of wallet for your customers? Our year-over-year overview examines your financial institution’s card activity and average ticket alongside point-of-sale and ATM transaction growth, including comparisons to industry averages. Year-over-year comparison of your institution’s reported fraud compared to your peer group is also included. Your Regional Director will then discuss potential actions for you to consider to increase usage, and therefore interchange income, including various marketing campaigns and additional reward programs. Additionally, fraud comparisons are very valuable to understand if there are any actions (e.g., card blocks or lower threshold scores) that your institution should consider.

Revenue Analysis

How is your gross interchange performing compared to the same month last year? The interchange analysis provides a year-over-year comparison of your monthly gross interchange, average gross interchange per transaction and card. Gain a deeper understanding of your sources of interchange income by examining your gross interchange by merchant category. Also included is a 12-month view of your revenue from your card portfolio and ATM fleet.

New Data Analytics Product – Coming Soon!

To further support the data needs of our financial institutions, SHAZAM is currently developing a data analytics product with on-demand access to a complete suite of EFT analytics, with additional deep-dive reports and visualizations. These reports and visualizations can prove to be excellent for gaining further insight into your cardholders, understanding which customers are generating you the most revenue, and demonstrating the profitability of your ATM terminals.

In addition, this product can help demonstrate the value of your SHAZAM relationship and is an excellent resource for executive management and board of directors meetings. Lastly, this product can be uniquely customized (e.g., we can create visualizations based on your institution’s individual needs) and can be branded for your financial institution.
