SHAZAM Sales Organization Update
The SHAZAM sales team is heading into FY24 with a new streamlined structure. SVP of Sales and Data Analytics Kevin Christensen said both the EFT and core sales approaches look a little different moving forward.
EFT solutions
The two groups in charge of existing client relationships have been consolidated into EFT solutions for greater efficiency.
Banking solutions
This is the more clearly defined core sales unit that includes core, digital and DocuCommand™. Banking solutions also has its own managing director in charge of both new business and existing relationships.
Focused on Strong Client Relationships
SHAZAM’s advantage is relatability and accessibility for clients. SHAZAM is the right size to deliver quality solutions with an emphasis on strong client service. Clients also benefit from the simplicity of having one provider for multiple solutions.
“SHAZAM is getting relationships right, it’s not just lip service,” said Kevin. “People do business with us because they know us, they like us and they trust us. That’s a powerful combination.”
A focus on being a reliable partner has led to a reorganization of the sales team — putting people in positions that make the most sense for developing and maintaining client relationships moving forward.
“We are leveraging the incredible experience and many talents of this team,” said Kevin. “It’s critical we play into individual strengths and subject matter expertise to drive future success.”
Here’s an overview of how our sales organization has been restructured to best meet our clients’ needs:
- Core sales staff, both new business and relationship management, will report to Matt Petersen, Managing Director. As part of this change, Matt will work closely with Shayde Leblanc, SVP Core and Ancillary Products, to further our success with both the SHAZAM and Nicola Banking System core products.
- EFT relationship staff will report to CC Marks, Managing Director. This change consolidates the two groups in charge of existing relationships under one leader. Sales staff supporting merchant services, brand acceptance and SHAZAM Secure will continue to report to CC.
- EFT new business sales staff will continue to report to Tim Luger, Managing Director. As part of this change, Tim will work closely with Tom Miller, SVP Processing, to develop and cultivate relationships with industry consultants and SHAZAM-friendly core processing organizations to allow us to have further success within the EFT space.
