Kevin Christensen Appointed to Lead SHAZAM’s Sales Teams

In February 2023, Kevin Christensen was named leader of SHAZAM’s sales teams as Sr. Vice President, Sales and Data Analytics. Kevin also leads our market intelligence team. This move emphasizes the importance of data within SHAZAM’s sales organization and furthers our ability to share powerful insights with financial institution partners.

Kevin joined SHAZAM nearly 20 years ago as a Senior Internal Audit Manager. Later, he became Vice President of Audit and then Vice President of Risk and Financial Services. He transitioned to market intelligence and data analytics in 2016. Before joining SHAZAM, Kevin worked for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. (FDIC) for 10 years, where he worked with institutions ranging from the community bank level to some of the largest and most complex data centers in the Midwest.

In addition to his data expertise, he serves on the U.S. Faster Payments Council’s board of directors and was the organization’s first executive director and board chair. He was a member of the Fed’s Faster Payments Task Force and served on the Governance Framework Formation Team.

Kevin also served on the board of directors for Nacha®, where he helped provide guidance and assisted in addressing issues of strategic significance to the ACH network and the national association, including compliance, fraud, information security and business continuity.
