ATM Data Exchange Enhancement

SHAZAM is excited to announce a new enhancement for our ATM Data Exchange product. Data Exchange offers financial institutions with NCR ATMs the ability to remotely pull ATM electronic journal files and make them available within SHAZAM Access for easy download. Each electronic journal contains details on transaction data, device faults and supervisor activity to help you troubleshoot and resolve balancing issues and cardholder disputes.

We enhanced this product to make it available for Hyosung and Diebold-Nixdorf ATMs running Microsoft^® Windows 10. This enhancement will make it easier for your institution to download and view all your electronic journals daily — without visiting each ATM to retrieve them.

As part of the enhancement, we’re now supporting cash monitoring for ATMs with Data Exchange enabled. This optional new feature allows institutions to view near real-time cash amounts in their canisters. This will help you monitor how much cash is available at an ATM any time. The data will be shown in your SHAZAM Monitor Plus (ATM Monitoring) tool. With Cash Monitoring, you’ll be able to track and figure out when ATMs need cash replenished easily.

NCR ATMs will still be able to take advantage of marketing campaigns and have them pushed to ATMs remotely using Data Exchange.

The new ATM Data Exchange functionality will require a SHAZAM RMM agent to be installed on the ATM during initial setup to begin communicating with our network.
