Don’t miss the 2025 Core User Group meeting
Though we're heading into the hot days of summer, fall and the 2025 Core User Group meeting are only four months away! This year’s event will take place Oct.13 – 15 at the Omni hotel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and will include both SHAZAM® CoreTM and Nicola CoreTM users.
Based on positive feedback from the 2024 meeting, we’ve planned a similar schedule with a welcome reception on Monday night, followed by two full days of meetings. We’ll also host a reception on Tuesday night, leaving Wednesday night open for you to explore the city on your own or head home.
The conference will be a mix of general sessions, breakout discussions and networking opportunities. General sessions this year will include updates on SHAZAM direction, compliance and Core User Group administrative business. During the administrative session, we'll say thank you to outgoing president Matt Lujano from Westside State Bank as vice president Seth Bingham from Auburn State Bank steps into the role. Current treasurer Bob Byram, from Sidney State Bank, will take over as vice president and a new treasurer will be elected.
With the addition of Nicola Core clients, some previous general sessions have been split into SHAZAM Core and Nicola Core tracks.
These include:
- Core migration expectations and demo
- FAQ from Nicola support
- Nicola Data Services best practices/POD
- SHAZAM Core product review
- SHAZAM platform release review
- WOW — We can do that?
“Ask an expert” sessions will connect you with subject matter experts on SHAZAM Core, teller and AccountLaunch®; Nicola Core and teller; digital banking; and compliance. These are opportunities to not only benefit from SHAZAM employee knowledge, but from peers who share how they're using applications successfully.
Product Q&A breakouts offer the opportunity to learn about applications under consideration or deepen your knowledge of those you currently use.
They'll cover:
- Call reports
- Core migration tips
- Core resource/SHAZAM Access
- DocuCommand®
- Insight/LookOut®
We’re bringing back our fireside chat this year, to help you benefit from the knowledge and experience of your peers. In it, a panel of attendees will answer questions about what items are top of mind for their institutions and how they're being addressed.
Sessions aren’t the only opportunities to learn from other attendees. The conference offers multiple opportunities to engage with peers through breaks, lunches and receptions.
If you're on the fence about registering, consider some comments from some of last year’s attendees:
“Great program!”
“Very good for my first event.”
“I always walk away knowing more about the core and platforms than I did when I came.”
Don’t miss out! Register for the 2025 Core User Group meeting before August 1 to take advantage of early bird pricing.
