Deleting inactive SHAZAM Access user profiles

Article contributor / Duane Betz / Senior Client Learning Consultant

If you’re a SHAZAM Access administrator, one of your most important responsibilities is to ensure user and administrative permissions are deleted if an employee leaves your financial institution or changes responsibilities.

Make it a habit to do the following:

  • Review your SHAZAM Access administrator and user profiles now, each quarter going forward and whenever you have staff turnover.
  • Assign a new administrator prior to an existing administrator leaving your institution.
  • Set up only as many user and administrator profiles as you need.

SHAZAM Access administrators can download a list of users by clicking the Admin tab > Manage Users. Click Search to display a list of users for your organization.

If you're a subscriber to the Insight tab in SHAZAM Access, you may also run the UR100-R SHAZAM Access User Roles Report available under the Audit category. This report will show all users and their associated roles that your financial institution has established.

The first five profiles are free, with an additional fee per month for each additional profile. Please note: Make sure users deleted from SHAZAM Access are also deleted from any group email addresses you’ve provided to SHAZAM.
