Introducing Dispute Partner Plus

Let’s face it — online shopping, password hacks, identity theft and other types of fraud are on the rise. As fraud continues to increase, financial institutions deserve a partner to help them effectively process claims and provide dispute resolution services.

Great news! SHAZAM® now offers a new and improved dispute resolution servicing platform: Dispute Partner Plus, which launched last month. We’re pleased to share that over 250 financial institutions are now utilizing the service since it became available.

Here are some helpful features and benefits of the service:

  • Merchant collaboration: Through our automated process, eligible disputed transactions will automatically enter the merchant collaboration process, providing an opportunity to recover funds prior to chargeback submission.
  • Automated upfront chargeback processing: Transactions will enter the chargeback process as soon as they’re eligible.
  • Intake flexibility: SHAZAM will handle intake on our clients’ behalf. If a customer is on-site or on the phone and prefers to complete the intake at that time, financial institutions now have the option to do so.
  • Increased visibility: Not only are all claim statuses and actions available via SHAZAM Access (SHAZAM’s client portal), but financial institutions now also have quick access to any documentation associated with the claim.
  • Enhanced notifications: Financial institutions and the cardholder will receive email notifications throughout the dispute process.
  • Streamlined workflow: The automated platform is intelligent. The process is guided by the answers provided during intake, which means an improved workflow for financial institutions right in SHAZAM Access.
