The Wisconsin Grocers Association (WGA), an association committed to promoting and strengthening the food industry from suppliers and wholesalers to retailers, has announced its endorsement of the SHAZAM network. The WGA endorsement encompasses SHAZAM's merchant services division, which is responsible for processing debit cards, credit cards, gift cards, electronic benefit transfer (EBT) cards, and electronic check conversions (ECCs).

SHAZAM Partners with MTXEPS to Offer Payment Processing Solutions to Merchants of All Sizes

MTXEPS, Inc., a feature rich premier payment engine software, and SHAZAM, Inc., one of the last remaining member-owned and-controlled EFT networks and processors in the country, announced today that they have entered into a partnership that will expand SHAZAM's current merchant payment processing program.

Now merchants of any size can take advantage of the cost-effective and reliable payment processing solutions offered by SHAZAM, including debit cards, credit cards, EBT cards, and ECCs, while being more tightly integrated with their current processing applications. Additionally, the partnership allows a more cost-effective means for merchants to process debit transactions using the credit to debit conversion option, where all check card purchases are prompted for a PIN.
