
Educational Assistance
SHAZAM will reimburse the actual cost up to a maximum of $260 per credit hour for undergraduate-level and $350 per credit hour for graduate-level college or university degrees or other course work that is in an area of interest to SHAZAM, plus books and any eligible, unexpected miscellaneous items. A maximum of two classes can be taken a semester. Employees are reimbursed for the class on a graduated scale according to the grade they receive.
Professional Certification Bonus
SHAZAM encourages employees to further their education by offering several professional and educational learning opportunities. Full time SHAZAM employees may receive a $500 bonus (taxable) for receiving a certification that benefits the company. Also, employees may have up to three paid days off to take the actual exam.
Award Bonuses
SHAZAM recognizes performance excellence with two award programs. The first program recognizes employees who show a specific contribution and/or deliver results that are not typically accomplished within the organization. The second program is designed to recognize employees who work to produce superior results on their projects and/or assignments.
Catalytic Coaching
SHAZAM employees are active participants in SHAZAM's performance coaching system.
The primary purpose of the catalytic coaching system is to help employees grow and improve.
The system is focused on the future versus the past. The catalytic coaching system replaces the
traditional performance review process.
Internships
SHAZAM offers various internship opportunities and internship incentives. With some of our
internships, SHAZAM may reimburse the last two years of actual tuition costs (up to a maximum of
$4,680/year) if you are hired on full time in the area the internship was in. Interns may also
receive a bonus at the completion of the internship. A travel allowance is also offered for interns
outside of the Des Moines vicinity. |
