How Logos Identify Use
The key to finding an ATM or merchant that will accept your card is to match the logos on your card to the ATM or merchant location you wish to use. Logos are displayed on the ATM, checkout, or POS:
- ATM cards - most ATM cards have two logos on them. They will usually have a regional logo (such as SHAZAM), and an international ATM logo (such as Cirrus® or Plus®).
- Debit cards - most debit cards have three logos on them. In addition to the regional and international ATM logos, they have either a Visa® or MasterCard® logo for signature-based activity.
